Hours

1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. (with shift differential)

*This position may include overtime hours

Pay Range

1st Shift: $18.50 – $20.50 per hour

2nd Shift: $19.75 – $21.75 per hour (includes shift differential)

We’re currently hiring Processing Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift , with additional earning potential on 2nd shift through a shift differential. No matter the shift, you’ll build real food manufacturing skills in a stable, long‑term environment.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, physical position in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for mixing ingredients, operating processing equipment, and following detailed recipes to produce high‑quality products.

This role is ideal for candidates with food processing experience who want more than a short‑term job — and are looking to grow into a long‑term, technical food manufacturing career on either shift.

What You’ll Be Trained On

You won’t be stuck in a generic “production” role. Operators gain experience on industry‑standard equipment, including:

• Oil roasters
• Tumbler mixers
• Hot panning systems
• Enrobers
• Food processing and blending equipment

These are transferable, in‑demand skills that support advancement within Good Sense Foods.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate food processing and blending equipment
• Accurately measure, weigh, and mix large ingredient batches
• Follow production recipes and work orders
• Monitor quality, temperature, and product consistency
• Keep production running efficiently
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment
• Follow GMPs, allergen controls, and food safety standards
• Perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing steps, and extended standing
