Job Description

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level SEO Specialist. This role will focus on improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, and supporting search engine optimization strategies for a growing U.S.-based organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research and identify SEO opportunities
Optimize website content, pages, and metadata for search engines
Monitor website performance and organic traffic trends
Support on-page and technical SEO improvements
Assist with content optimization and SEO-driven content strategies
Track rankings, traffic, and SEO performance metrics
Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms
Conduct competitor and market research
Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams
Identify opportunities to improve site structure and user experience
Support backlink and off-page SEO initiatives
Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred
0–2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related roles (internships/projects count)
Basic understanding of SEO principles and search engine ranking factors
Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Curiosity and willingness to learn SEO tools and strategies
