Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future As a Sr Advisor III, SAP Basis Engineer, you will lead SAP basis operations and complex project ERP initiatives while ensuring stability, performance, and strategic evolution of SAP environments across hybrid platforms.
What You'll Do - Lead administration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, and CloudALM across SAP RISE (PCE), hyperscaler, and on‑prem environments.
- Manage/execute installations, upgrades, migrations, patching, and ensure interoperability with third‑party applications.
- Drive execution of the digital roadmap, process design, governance, KPIs, and resource planning.
- Document complex as‑is and to‑be processes and define business requirements.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution while mentoring junior engineers.
- Follow SAP security standards and support SOX/GDPR compliance
- Support transport management, CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and system refresh cycles.
- Hands-on troubleshooting, implementation
- Oversee testing strategies, monitor system health, and align SAP infrastructure with enterprise goals.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and business partners to deliver scalable solutions.
What You'll Bring - Required - 10+ years of SAP Basis experience including S/4HANA and ECC.
- Experience managing SAP across SAP RISE, hyperscaler, private cloud, and on‑prem environments.
- Expertise in HANA administration, performance tuning, and system migrations.
- Advanced capability in process analysis, requirements elicitation, and gap analysis.
- Experience leading complex change management and digital transformation initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred - SAP Certified Technology Associate (Basis or HANA).
- Experience with SAP BTP services setup/configuration, CloudALM, and other SAP SaaS solutions/services.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
- Experience in innovation management, product release planning, and readiness assessments.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $176,400 - $ 215,600.
