Join our Parks & Recreation team as a Recreation Aide and help create engaging programs for the community! This temporary role is perfect for candidates with experience in childcare, summer camps, recreation programs, or youth activities .
What You’ll Do
Lead and assist with recreational activities, games, and group programs
Support arts & crafts, special events, and community programming
Supervise and engage participants in a safe, inclusive environment
Set up and clean up activity spaces and equipment
Provide excellent customer service to participants and families
Qualifications
Experience in recreation, childcare, camps, or youth programs (paid or volunteer)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule , including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with Rec-Trac
Background in adaptive recreation or inclusive programming
Requirements
Valid Florida Driver’s License (required prior to employment)
Willing to submit to drug test and background check
Drug Free Work Place
