Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Supervisor I (SUP) I, the Analyst II (AN) II serves as the analyst for Public Records Act requests, legislation, publications, regulations, reports and special projects for the Division of Law Enforcement (DLE), Office of the Chief (OC). Acts as division’s liaison and representative with Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA). Conducts training for legislation/regulation/publication/public records act analysts. The AN II must possess good interpersonal skills and extensive knowledge of Division and Department policies and procedures.

Working Conditions

DOJ has adopted telework for employees who can effectively perform their essential work functions remotely. After an initial 6 month training period, this position may allow for a hybrid in office and telework opportunity, upon supervisor approval. All telework schedules are based on current workload conditions and may be re-evaluated as conditions change.

New-to-State employees will be given the minimum salary of Range A. For current state employees and/or those with reinstatement rights, your salary will be determined in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

    3. Based on your review of the duty statement, describe how your skills and experience qualify you for this position.
