Job Description

Position : Senior Program Manager Critical Infrastructure & Strategic Delivery

Location : New York, NY (Onsite)

Employment mode : Contract position



Key Responsibilities:
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Serve as the primary interface between program teams and executive leadership, delivering clear, concise, and actionable updates on program health, milestones, risks, dependencies, financials, and strategic outcomes.
  • Build executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials that translate complex technical and operational details into business-focused insights and decision points.
  • Lead steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and governance forums, driving alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Jira Governance & Agile Delivery Leadership Act as the program authority for Jira management, ensuring epics, features, stories, dependencies, risks, and milestones are accurately maintained and aligned to program objectives.
  • Lead backlog grooming, prioritization, sprint planning, and roadmap management activities across cross-functional teams to ensure work is clearly defined, sequenced appropriately, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Establish and enforce delivery best practices, reporting standards, and workflow discipline that provide leadership with real-time visibility into program execution.
  • Program & Project Planning Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans that incorporate scope, schedules, resource requirements, milestones, dependencies, risk mitigation strategies, and critical path activities.
  • Build integrated project roadmaps that align multiple workstreams, vendors, engineering teams, and business stakeholders toward a common set of outcomes.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and delivery obstacles, implementing mitigation strategies before they impact program commitments.
  • Program Execution & Delivery Leadership Drive end-to-end execution of large-scale, business-critical infrastructure and technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organizational objectives.
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations across project teams while fostering a culture of execution, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate efforts across engineering, architecture, operations, security, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and successful program outcomes.
  • Risk, Dependency & Issue Management Identify, track, and manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and interdependencies across multiple initiatives and teams.
  • Facilitate rapid escalation and resolution of critical delivery challenges while maintaining stakeholder confidence and minimizing business impact.
  • Implement governance mechanisms that ensure risks are surfaced early and addressed proactively.
  • Driving Programmatic Success Create operational rigor through metrics, KPIs, and reporting that provide measurable insight into program performance and delivery effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate delivery processes and identify opportunities to improve execution, efficiency, predictability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Champion a results-oriented culture focused on achieving strategic business outcomes, operational excellence, and successful delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure, data center, network, cloud, or enterprise technology programs.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively from engineer to C-suite.
  • Advanced expertise in Jira, Agile delivery methodologies, roadmap management, and program governance.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and high visibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority, drive accountability, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
