Injection Mold Operator Details:
Operate and maintain plastic injection molding equipment, including presses, molds, robots, and material feeders.
• Monitor machines, check for abnormalities, and adjust settings to maintain product quality.
• Maintain and troubleshoot supporting systems (dryers, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, conveyors, forklifts, packaging equipment).
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure all products meet specifications.
• Conduct preventative and unplanned machine maintenance; document machine changes and repairs.
Injection Mold Operator Qualifications:
• Formal technical training or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery.
• Basic computer skills to operate automated equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions (English).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift as required.
