Job Summary:
The Director, Finance leads financial operations supporting physician services, ensuring accurate management of P&L, revenue tracking, and accounts receivable across contracted physician groups. This high-impact role is responsible for end-to-end month-end close processes, financial reporting, and budget oversight, directly influencing financial decision-making and strategic planning within a physician practice management environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including P&L, variance analysis, and operational statistics
- Manage complete month-end close: physician invoicing, bank reconciliations, and revenue tracking
- Coordinate annual budgeting, monitor ongoing financial performance and profitability
- Conduct cash control and procedural audits for physician practices, recommending improvements
- Serve as the primary financial liaison between physician clients and corporate accounting
- Oversee the physician refund generation and tracking process
- Maintain general ledger accounts and income distribution for contracted physician groups
- Coordinate all banking activities and manage relationships with physician accountants
- Support special projects and financial analyses for senior leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s in Accounting or Finance
- 5 10 years in corporate finance or public accounting
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and Excel
- Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Excellent communication skills for direct client and leadership engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification
- Healthcare or physician practice management experience
- Familiarity with accounting software, database tools (e.g., Access)
