Hey Baristas - thanks for checking us out! So where to begin?

Well, we love the Miami coffee scene - from the ventanitas to the pioneering second wave roasters and shops (....still missing All-Day) BUT the TRUTH is that alot of it is overpriced, oversweet, and mediocre and we think we can do better. (Don't even get us started on "automatic" espresso machines or "large" cappucinos)

So yeah - we take our coffee - but not ourselves - seriously and we are on a mission to bring an authentic, high quality, conscientious coffee program to anyone who comes through our doors, while creating a space that is safe and open to all people, of all backgrounds and beliefs. 

We have a strong partnership with Counter Culture, an amazing coftee program leadership team, a bright, pretty space on the corner of Tigertail and Mary in Coconut Grove. Oh, and a beee-yu-tee-fullll chromed out classic Marzocco (Linea) just waiting for you....

We believe in keeping it simple.  We believe in creating spaces for everyone.  We believe how we treat people matters - and not just guests, but each other. 

We're a neighborhood centric all-day café and wine bar in the Grove with a small crew focused on delivering the best possible experience for our customers: our mission is to create vibrant gathering places that connect and nourish our customers and entire community and become woven into the fabric of their daily lives.

What are we looking for? Low key personalities, no drama, pride in your work, kindness, professionalism.

Take yourself too seriously? We're probably not a good fit. Don't like constantly cleaning? Pass. Experienced? Great. Less experience but ambitious and ready to learn? Also great. Want to learn about coffee, wine, how a small business operates? Even better.

What's the job? Barista and/or apprentice barista and counter staff. All customer-facing and responsible for the happiness of every guest - so yes, you must be authentic and kind.

Average pay (hourly plus tips) works out to $22-24 an hour.

Nos encanta la escena del café en Miami, desde las ventanitas hasta los pioneros de la segunda ola de tostadores y cafeterías (todavía extrañamos All-Day). PERO la verdad es que mucho de esto está sobrevalorado y es mediocre en comparación con otras ciudades cosmopolitas del mundo, y creemos que podemos hacerlo mejor. ¡Y ni hablar de las máquinas de espresso automáticas!

Nos tomamos el café en serio, pero no a nosotros mismos, y estamos en una misión para ofrecer un programa de café auténtico, de alta calidad y consciente a cualquiera que cruce nuestras puertas.

Somos un café y bar de vinos en el Grove centrado en el vecindario con un pequeño equipo enfocado en brindar la mejor experiencia posible a nuestros clientes: nuestra misión es crear lugares de encuentro vibrantes que conecten y nutran a nuestros clientes y a toda la comunidad, y se conviertan en parte integral de sus vidas diarias.

¿Qué buscamos? Personalidades tranquilas, sin dramas, orgullo en tu trabajo, amabilidad y profesionalismo.

¿Te tomas demasiado en serio? Probablemente no somos una buena opción. ¿Tienes experiencia? Genial. ¿Menos experiencia pero ambición y ganas de aprender? También genial. ¿Quieres aprender sobre café, vino, cómo funciona una pequeña empresa? Aún mejor.

¿El trabajo? Barista y/o aprendiz de barista y personal de mostrador. Todo de cara al cliente y responsable de la felicidad de cada invitado, así que sí, debes ser auténtico y amable.

¿Qué hay para ti? Alto salario base Y, como estás en el piso, participación completa en el fondo compartido de propinas del Frente de la Casa.
